IT’S INSPIRING TO WORK WITH SO MANY INNOVATIVE & FORWARD-THINKING BUSINESSES.

As an HR Advisor, Katie Dunn assists clients with a variety of HR administrative procedures. Supporting the HR Consultants, Katie works on a full range of HR processes, including recruitment, ER cases, Employee Handbooks, Project work, contract variations and HR Operating Systems. No two days are ever really the same for Katie, and she’s constantly learning new things.

HONESTY & TRANSPARENCY

“The ideal relationship with a client would be one based on mutual respect and understanding that works more like a friendship than a business connection. Clients trust me to provide for them an honest, transparent service that puts their organisation goals, employees and aspirations at the forefront of services provided.”

INSPIRING CLIENTS

“The most satisfying part of my work is the variety – I love the range of different clients that I get to work with, a lot of them specialising in niche fields. It’s inspiring to work with so many innovative and forward-thinking businesses and I love the variety this brings.

My colleagues are supportive and always share insights and encouragement. There is genuine care from them and they want you to do well.”

A PROACTIVE MINDSET

“Challenging the status quo and looking for ways to do things differently always keeps things exciting and helps to keep a proactive mindset. It’s never mundane being part of AAB Group.”

FOCUSING OUR TIME

“I enjoy using a hybrid model of virtual and more ‘hands-on’ routes when it comes to working with clients, and our tech structure supports this. I think it helps us and our clients to focus our time where it is needed and enhances productivity.”

KEEPING UP TO DATE

“The greatest challenge in my line of work is keeping up with current legislation and changes within the world of HR. I try to attend regular webinars on new and current topics to ensure my knowledge is kept up to date.”

ADAPTING & STRENGTHENING

“I love working here! Seeing the most recent developments and acquisitions at AAB has shown me how the business is constantly moving, adapting and getting stronger. I think it’s a great place to work, and the prospect of so much new opportunity is really exciting.”

FRIENDLY & RELIABLE

“I think I am a very good people person, reliable and will always set realistic expectations. I am very friendly and have good core HR knowledge! I also have plenty of experience working with hypergrowth business and I thrive off of change.”

CREATING GREAT ECOSYSTEMS

“Sometimes I think people have a negative impression of HR and what we do, but I fully believe that we can positively shape and support business’ dynamic teams, provide strong foundations and create great work ecosystems. I think sometimes HR is perceived as just being about rules and regulations, but this impression is slowly being broken down – there is so much more!”
