Myles Elder is a Commercial Manager based in our London office. His role is to work alongside the commercial director and execute our sales strategy.

How does he do it? By identifying live opportunities with existing clients and prospective ones. Myles partners with them to explain our services and the benefits this will have for them. He then collaborates with the wider team to support opportunities, pitch to stakeholders and finalise bringing clients on board.

Flexing around clients

“Being flexible is the best way to be especially in my role. Having a flexible approach allows me to adapt to the client’s needs. As I cover a large area it enables me to meet with clients no matter easily and effectively where they are which in turn saves them time and keeps our communication efficient. On the flip side, if a client wants me to meet them face-to-face, I can do that too. Whether we’re conversing through a screen or meeting in person, we’ll defer to the preference of our clients.”

“I’ve joined the business at a really exciting time, we’re starting to expand into new locations and that brings an exciting opportunity for us to partner with businesses and organisations across London and the southeast. I’m excited to play a part in making AAB People a well-known name and business here and delivering our services to more market-leading organisations.”

Keeping abreast of changes

“Working in HR one thing that’s always constant is change- there’s constantly new updates in the law and that means as we’re advising clients on the law that we need to keep up to date with any changes that might be coming into force. While there’s an element of challenge to this that we’re constantly being fed different information it’s also a great opportunity. It’s an opportunity to provide clients with peace of mind that we’re keeping up to date with changes and we’ll ensure they’re compliant so that they don’t have to do it themselves.”
